Anyang Museum is taking the lead in promoting the history and national heritage of Anyang

The museum was first revealed as "Anyang History Museum" at Pyeongchon Arts Hall in September 2004. It has since promoted Anyang’s history and culture and contributed towards the growth of historical sense of citizens by being active in conducting educational programs. In 2015, the museum was renamed to "Anyang Museum" and relocated inside Anyang Art Park in September 2017.

Located on the site of Anyang Temple Site, from which Anyang originated, Anyang Museum has made the citizens easier to understand the city's history and culture—from prehistoric to modern times—through various types of video materials as well as models and artifacts. The museum is faithfully engaged in fulfilling their role as a public museum by continuing with their educational activities in a new place with a set of changes.

We look forward to your continued interest and support for the Anyang Museum.
