The Anyang Public Art Project (APAP) is Korea's one and only public art festival, held every three years against the backdrop of Anyang. This project unravels and presents the changing context and environment of modern cities—such as Anyang's history, culture, geographical features, and development—with various public artworks, covering arts, sculptures, architectures, designs, and performances. It transforms the city itself a gallery to allow the citizens enjoy arts in their daily lives.
Since its inception in 2005, it has joined forces with Anyang citizens and art audiences at home and abroad by presenting public art to match Anyang's urban environment.
